OCF – ONL 147 – The Gardens of London Mandala

Choose the color of your fabric

Please note that this are not genuine fabric colors of any manufactuer. The colors have been hand-chosen by me, as they represent an array of colors which act as a decent, though emphasizing background for my intricate design. I strongly recommend to avoid any bold colored and/or mottled so-called "hand dyed" fabrics. Your months-long work on details and specialitles will be lost in any agitated background.

This design features the most known and cherished architectural landmarks of London, together with the guardsmen in their bear-fur caps. You see the classic red London telephone huts – and you can wander virtually along the river Thames and hear the stroke of Big Ben’s mighty bells…

In the center you find a lovely pond , perhaps seen in one of the city’s green parks… surrounded by a trellis of Roses and four formal gardens, as they are cared for in and at many official houses.

Lots of interesting and varying threads are used for Special Stitches, and the entire embroidery is highlighted by beads and crystals.

If you wish to stitch a  little extra and addition – you can use this INSERT (for small fee) here to insert it into the empty gates of the right bottom bus station….

The mere design size is: 385 x 385 stitches

  1. I was looking for the back stitching for LOndon you mentioned that was available. It is not appearing here or in my account files. Possibly, this is due to my original purchase of this design before you web page was available? My e-mail is bisbing@msn.com if this is more convenient for you or drop me a note and I’ll check back here.
