This design features the beautiful shades of a Peacock’s plumage, the shimmer and sparkle in the sun – we use vibrant silks and braids, beads (quite some beading) and sparkling crystals, gold metallics…all which reflects the richness of these colors and shapes.

Many beautiful Special Stitches make the best from variegated silks, solid flosses and metallic braids…

Peacock Mandala — by Bhooma Aravamudan on 28 ct Tantalizing Tangerine: ” started this around April of this year. But had to put it down for a few months while working on a model. Once I was done with the model stitching I concentrated on this Mandala and was happy to finish this wonderful Mandala”

Size: The mere design size is 283 x 283 stitches.

Recommended Fabric: This design is intended for 14/28ct only due to extensive beading. Perhaps white, unbleached, light blue… do a floss toss
and choose your favorite. A darker color
will emphasize the bright colors – if you dare,
choose black….
